Recently Nathalie Silva at the Division of Packaging Logistics at LTH defended her PhD thesis focusing on how to make industrial packaging more sustainable. In her work, she looked at the environmental impact of disposable and returnable packages, comparing their contribution to waste and greenhouse gas emissions.
