How to reach the Ingvar Kamprad Design Centre (IKDC)

By car
E6 from the north: Take the first exit for Lund (Exit 21) onto highway 16 (Fjelievägen). Continue in towards Lund. At the Nova Lund shopping centre, turn left at the roundabout onto the northern ring road (signposted E22 to Kalmar). Continue on the northern ring road for about 2 km to the first roundabout. Exit the first roundabout on the right towards IDEON, and exit the second roundabout (after about 50 m) left, onto Scheelevägen. Drive another 500 m to the traffic lights. Turn right onto Sölvegatan. The IKDC is about 300 m on the left-hand side.

E6 from the south: Take the first exit to Lund (Lomma, Exit, 20), onto highway 103. Turn left at the roundabout and follow the 108 north (western ring road). After about 2 km, turn left towards northern Lund (Lund Norra). At the Nova Lund shopping centre, drive straight on at the roundabout onto the northern ring road (signposted E22 to Kalmar). Continue on the northern ring road for about 2 km to the first roundabout. Exit the first roundabout on the right towards IDEON, and exit the second roundabout (after about 50 m) left, onto Scheelevägen. Drive another 500 m to the traffic lights. Turn right onto Sölvegatan. The IKDC is about 300 m on the left-hand side.

E22 from the north: Exit the motorway at the Lund Norra exit. At the roundabout, turn right onto the northern ring road. Continue driving about 500 m to the first roundabout. Take the left exit towards IDEON. At the second roundabout, after about 50 m, turn left onto Scheelevägen. Drive another 500 m to the traffic lights. Turn right onto Sölvegatan. The IKDC is about 300 m on the left-hand side.

E22 from the south: Continue past the exit for southern Lund and Dalby, and take the next exit, marked Norra Lund. Turn left at the roundabout onto the northern ring road. Continue about 500 m to the first roundabout. Turn left towards IDEON, and at the next roundabout, after about 50 m, turn left onto Scheelevägen. Drive another 500 m to the traffic lights. Turn right onto Sölvegatan. The IKDC is about 300 m on the left-hand side.

By train
Upon arriving at the central station in Lund, make your way to Clemenstorget on the north-eastern side of the station. The bus stop is marked Lundalänken (the Lund link). From there you can take the yellow regional buses, 166 to Södra Sandby or 169 to Malmö, or the local green buses, 20 or 21 (to Brunnshög). Get off at the IDEON bus stop, which is about 20 m past the IKDC.

By bus
“Lundalänken”: At the bus stop marked Lundalänken at Clemenstorget, take the yellow regional bus,166 (Södra Sandby) or 169 (Malmö), or the green city buses, 20 or 21 (to Brunnshög). Get off at the IDEON bus stop, which is about 20 m past the IKDC.

Local buses (green): Bus number 6 to Linero also goes from Clemenstorget. This bus stops at the LTH Students’ Union building, from which it is a 5-minute walk to the IKDC.

Regional buses (yellow): Bus number 166 to Södra Sandby and number 169 to Malmö both stop about 20 m past the IKDC, at the IDEON bus stop.

Please note that you cannot pay your bus ticket with cash in Lund!

You can by a one-way ticket at the station. A one-way ticket is only valid in city traffic. If you don´t have a Jojo discount card, you can buy your ticket in advance at the customer centers and service agents. A costumers center is located at the station – please look for at red sign saying “Skånetrafiken”). You can also buy your ticket with a credit/debit card (with a pin code) in the ticket machines that are at all train stations. To buy text message ticket, your cell phone MUST have a Swedish operator.

On the yellow regional buses you are able to pay the ticket with a credit/debit card (with a pin code). Please note that this is not possible on the green local buses.

By air
From Malmö Airport (Sturup): Take the airport bus to Lund, and get off at the bus stop IDEON.

From Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup): Take the train directly from the airport (Platform 1) to Lund (you might have to change train at Malmö central station).  Get off at the central station in Lund, and then follow the instructions above for travelling from the station.
