Deep technologies possess substantial potential to create a significant impact on both society and the environment. Recently, leading technology firms have been increasingly pursuing acquisitions of deep tech ventures as a critical strategy to experiment with new technological capabilities.

The aim of this project is to advance our understanding of how acquisitions of deep tech ventures facilitate the creation and transformation of capabilities of large incumbent firms.

We are looking for students interested in exploring acquisitions of deep tech ventures for their master's theses. A background in business economics, business strategy or innovation management is preferable but not mandatory.
