LTH AEROSOLS seminar: Amplification of Atmospheric Oxidative Capacity and Secondary Organic Aerosol Formation in Southern China's Mountainous Background Atmosphere

Professor Hao Wang will give a seminar on the topic “Amplification of Atmospheric Oxidative Capacity and Secondary Organic Aerosol Formation in Southern China's Mountainous Background Atmosphere”
The amplification effect of anthropogenic-biogenic interactions on atmospheric oxidative capacity and secondary organic aerosol (SOA) formation remains a topic of ongoing debate. In this talk, I will present findings from a decade of observations conducted in the Nanling mountains—a large subtropical forest adjacent to the Pearl River Delta (PRD) in southern China.
About the presenter: Dr. Hao Wang is a full professor at the Institute for Environmental and Climate Research, Jinan University, China, and an adjunct professor at Queensland University of Technology. With over 20 years of experience in aerosol measurements, his current research focuses on the sources and formation mechanisms of atmospheric aerosols. To date, Dr. Wang has published more than 110 journal papers, with an H-index of 28.
